Rachelle Bunch has been singing for as long as she can remember. While at CBC and CWU, she sang in Freeform, a well-respected community college jazz choir, and with CWU's Chamber and jazz groups. concurrently learning how to arrange for vocal jazz. Following college, she moved to Las Vegas and had the opportunity to be a professional singer at the Venetian and row a boat through the canals of the Grand Canal Shoppes as a gondolier.  Back in Washington State, Rachelle works in Property Management, which has cultivated her business skills to help Wellspring grow and thrive. She is honored to serve as the President on the board and hopes that the BOD is helping to create Wellspring into everything Evan had ever wished for!

Musically, Kris is thrilled to join Wellspring Ensemble as a 2nd Soprano and Secretary to the Board of Directors. She also loves to cook, garden, travel, paint, search for sunshine, and is always listening to every kind of music imaginable, much to her teens dismay.

Billy works as the director of the Student Learning Center at Shoreline Community College, a program focused on providing academic assistance and support to students that attend the college. Having been involved in instrumental music his entire life, he attended Central Washington University where he earned his BA in Music Education. While there, he joined a choir for the very first time, and loved the musical experience and sense of community that was present in the choral experience, and has been singing ever since in school and community groups. He is thrilled to have the opportunity to serve in Wellspring Ensemble as the Treasurer, and to work with the board to continue to help create wonderful musical and community experiences here in Wellspring!

Jesse is in school to complete his masters in school counseling and he will be interning at Nathan Hale High School next year. He has been singing for 25 years extending from elementary through college and beyond. Most notable are Edmonds Community College choirs, Central Washington University's choirs, Seattle Men's Chorus, and Magnolia Chorale. As a semi founding member of WE he is very excited to help the group take its next steps as it continues to grow.

Michael works a software engineer at Stripe. He's performed in various choirs since middle school. In his spare time, he also helps host and cater house concerts at his home in Madrona. He's excited to help Wellspring not only as a tenor, but also as a tech advisor and webmaster.

Kate Schubert is a retired Veterinarian who loves music almost as much as she loves dogs and cats. Besides singing, she also plays several instruments, and brings experience with performing arts non-profits to our board.  The joy of making music with WE, and inspiring leadership from Evan are a highlight to her week.

Marjorie works as a teacher and musician in Seattle. She discovered her love for singing after studying Flute Performance at WSU. She loves to sing contemporary and classical, while helping others discover their own dreams. Wellspring Ensemble is the perfect mix of challenging musical repertoire and loving atmosphere to make her feel right at home. Now on the Board of Directors she hopes to serve with her skills in networking and musicianship.

Aly received her undergraduate from Central Washington University and her Masters from Western Governors University. Her past board experience includes six years serving on the WA American Choral Directors Association board. One of the most important things about choir for Aly is the community that it builds. Aly was drawn to Wellspring because of the community that was created. She is looking forward to working with the board to continue to strengthen that community.

Emily Iverson is an accountant, singer and actress performing in various professional capacities in the greater Seattle area, and occasionally across North America, for over 25 years. Christina found a passion for music at an early age which continued through high school. She then joined Soundsation at Edmonds Community College where she continued her music education which led her to Central Washington University. Christina joined Wellspring off and on over the years and recently decided to take the plunge to join the board. Bringing a knowledge of brand management and social media she is excited to work with the board to increase the visibility and accessibility of Wellspring Ensemble.

Madeleine spent her college years entrenched in the midwestern choir world at Saint Olaf College in Minnesota. As an adult moving back to Seattle, one of the first things she had to do was find a choir - which she found in Wellspring. Professionally, Madeleine builds communities by strengthening arts access, using her nonprofit leadership skills to market and fundraise for the arts - most recently as manager of the Saint Mark’s Cathedral Music Series, Executive Director at Bellevue Youth Choirs, and now as Mainstage Marketing Manager at Village Theatre. A lifelong singer, Madeleine is overjoyed to join the WE Board of Directors and help the ensemble grow!
