Wellspring Ensemble is proud to present its annual Choral Composition Competition, uplifting emerging composers from the Pacific Northwest (Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia). Designed for those in the early stages of their compositional journey, this opportunity supports artists who are developing their voice in choral music and seeking meaningful opportunities for collaboration, performance, and artistic growth.

 

Through a blind adjudication process, selected works will be evaluated for artistic merit, creativity, and performance potential. The winning composer will receive a $700 award, a featured performance by Wellspring Ensemble, and professional recordings, with the opportunity to attend rehearsals and performances in August 2026.
