Awake, O World invites audiences on a journey from struggle to hope through a powerful and emotionally rich program. The concert opens with weightier repertoire that reflects life’s challenges—loss, conflict, and perseverance—before gently transitioning into a space of dreaming and reflection.

The program culminates in a spirit of compassion and unity with the premiere of On a Dry-Cold Night by Rick Asher, a poignant call to welcome the stranger and embrace our shared humanity. The concert concludes with Reginal Wright’s We Are the Music Makers, featuring collaboration with the Seattle Girls Choir - Saturday only, and  Wellspring Treble Ensemble —a fitting celebration of connection, creativity, and the enduring power of song to awaken the world.
